Executive Summary

To establish the design method of steel-concrete hybrid members in port and harbour facilities, mechanical properties of L-shaped and T-shaped connections between hybrid members have been studied. A few kinds of connections are adopted for sandwich members and open sandwich members. Static loading tests are carried out for these connections. From test results, followings are made clear. Steel in tensile side shoudl be ancharaged at compression part of steel or concrete for L-shaped connection and sharing reinforcements play important role in ultimate strength and cracks.
