This report presetns the strong-motion earthquake records on the 17 December 1987 Chiba-Ken-Toho-Oki earthquake in the port areas in Japan. Event data of earthquake are listed with the maximum component accelerations of the records obtained in the network of the Port and Harbour Reseach Institute. 9 records of them are presented as acceleration time histories, integrated velocities and displacements, response spectra and Fourier spectra, loci of acceleration, velocity and displacement, listings of the digitized records. This report has almost the same procedures for data processing as the preceding annual reports.
