In October of the 43rd year of Showa (1968), The Summary to carry out Wave Observation at Selected Stations was made up in the Port and Harbour Bureau, the Ministry of Transport.
　According to this summary, each Port and Harbour construciton Bureau arranged the wave observation system to obtain the digital data, and concentrative data processing system was established in the Port and Harbour Research Institure, and then the application of these systems was started from the 45th year of Showa (1970).
　In this report, are the results of statistical analysis for wave data observed during 1975 at the selected stations shown.
　These results consist of the frequency distributions of wave statistics, the wave spectra and the meteorological summary of unusual sea states etc.
　The number of the selected stations as of 1977 is 24 and at 8 stations of these surface wave records in the water of -50m deep are obtained.
