Cargo handling activites on the wharf apron are analysed and formulated into simulation model. Data of field observation which has been carried out at Yamashita No.2 berth in Port of Yokohama are fully utilized. In this paper, wharf apron is treated as two dimentional space, though the most of papers concerning this problem are taking one dimentional approach.
　Results of simulation by electronic computer satisfactorily agreed with real situation, and valuable suggestions for the planning and desining of wharf apron are obtained.
