The field investigation was carried out on the quality of concretes used for the governmental harbour construction works in 1965. It covered the non-reinforced concrete works mainly in Hokkaido and the reinforced concrete works in Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu Islands and also covered the works of 51 percents of the regional port construction offices or their branch offices. The results show the general tendency of quality of concrete for harbour construction works in Japan.
