This facility consists of three sites: a seawater circulation tank simulating a tidal zone and underwater area, a seawater shower exposure test site simulating a splash zone, and maritime atmosphere exposure test site. Seawater is used at these sites to evaluate deterioration and long-term durability of various materials (concrete, steel, anti-corrosive, and wooden materials).
