Executive Summary

This document introduces the design method of the asymmetric reinforcement design program for breakwaters and mooring caissons, which was changed from the allowable stress method to the limit state design method. Various calculation assumptions that were considered when the program was changed were summarized, and the results of considering the difference from the calculation results based on the existing allowable stress design method using the program were summarized.
The items to be improved are as follows.
・Transition from allowable stress design method to limit state design method
・Transition of sectional force calculation from single rebar to double rebar  ・Transition
from gravity unit system to SI unit system
Enhancement of plotting functions such as
・Automatic creation of reinforcing bar table (spreadsheet software)
function By inputting the caisson specifications determined in the basic design, design conditions, external forces, and wave observation data of the design target area, A series of operations such as bar arrangement design, material table calculation, and bar arrangement drawing creation can be executed with this program.
