Executive Summary

 Recently, the salt-induced damages of reinforced concrete (RC) superstructures of wharves have been found in many ports. The salt-induced damage is caused by corrosion of the steel bars, and sometimes cover concrete is stripped off.
 Series of tests were begun to evaluate repairing methods for these damaged RC structures. As a part of these tests, this accelerated test was carried out. The main purposes of this test are as follows;
1.To clarify the critical points of repairing.
2.To evaluate the effectiveness of repairing on corrosion prevention.
 In this paper, the results of this accelerated test are presented.
