Executive Summary

Tractive force on bollards and storm bitts is studied in this paper. In this study critical load acting on mooring ropes is investigated and tractive force on mooring post is estimated by a numerical simulation method. Current problems concerned the utilization of the standard bollards and storm bitts are also investigated through questionnaries.
