| Executive Summary | In this note, the summary of the coastal wave observation facilities at the network stations in ports and harbours is presetned. This sort of the summary has been reported in a series of the annual reports on the subject of An annual report for wave observation at chozen points since 1970. However, because of space limitations owing to the increase of the number of the network stations, it became unavoidable for the summary to be published as a separate volume from the annual report. So in order to make the summary more substantial, authors have reconstituted the forms to summarize the coastal wave observation facilities. In this note, the present wave observation facilities with the changes of them for over 10 years at the network stations are shown, based on the new unified forms as follows: (1) The location of the wave and meteorological observation stations (2) The plane figure of the wave observation system (3) The sectional plan of the wave observation system (4) The specifications of the wave observation system (5) The specifications of the wind observation apparatus (6) The block diagram of the wave observation system This note is to be revised every 5 years and the changes of the wave observation facilities will be reported in the annual report on wave properties. |
