In this report the dimensions of various cargo handling equipments, which have been used at main ports in Japan, are analized statistically for the use of the port planning and the design of port facilities.
　The results of the study are mainly represented graphically and the regression analysis are also made for some dimensions.
　Main items reported in this paper are as follows.
　1.Frequency distribution of each type of cargo handling equipments for cargo classifications or for scales of Wharves.
　2.The cargo handling ability of the equipments.
　3.Weights of the equipments.
　4.Wheel loads of the equipments.
　5.Wheel bases and spans of the equipments.
　6.The number and intervals of wheels.
　7.Positions of rails and heights of gravity center of the equipments.
