The evalution and overlay thickness design of airport asphalt pavements were investigated, making use of Dynaflect, which had been eveloped as one dkind of nondestructive testing devices for pavements.
　As a result, they became clear that the Dynaflect deflections were good indicators of structural adequacy of flexible pavements and that overlay thickness could be designed accurately using elastic layer theory.
