In October of the 43rd year of Showa (1968), The Summary to carry out the Wave Observations at Selected Stations was decided in Port and Harbour Bureau, Minisry of Transport. According to this summary, each Port and Harbour Construction Bureau arranged the Wave Observation System where in was the brief subject to get the digital data, and in Port and Harbour Research Institute, the concentrative handling and analysis system was established and operation was started from the 45th year of Showa (1970).
　And also in Hokkaido Development Bureau, the same executive system was arranged and operation was started.
　In this Report, the authors collected the wave data which were observed between January and December of the 48th year of Showa (1974)in these points and made the wave statistics tables and examined the wave and weather characteristics in high wave days at these points in this period.
　Furthermore, in was referred to the concentrative handling and analysis system of wave observation.
