Executive Summary	This paper is the first report of the automatic design system of port and harbour structures.The automatic design system developed at P.H.R.I. is made of automatic calculation system and automatic drawing system used by electronic computer TOSBAC 3400 and electronic drafting machine TNC 5000M. 　This paper presents an outline of automatic design system and considerations on the problems concerning design methods, etc., and two casestudies of L type concrete block quay wall and sheet pilequay wall.
