This report describes the model test of the Port of Matsuyama Takahama area for a protecting harbour area by the breakwater construction from strong alongshore current.
　The model was constructed both scale horizontal 1:100 and vertical 1:50, and the experiment current was conducted on steady flow without the tidal current were examined.
　Some method for the decreasing the strong current velocity were obtaned, and they include (1) proper locations of the breakwater (2) proper length of the breakwater (3) effect of the reclaim.
