A literature survey was made on the overlay pavement design for airports. Studied were the welknown methods published from organizations as U.S. Federal Aviation Agency, U.S. Corps of Engineers and Portland Cement Association in U.S.A. and their supporting data were reviewed for comparison purposes.
　The results show these are primarily empirical methods developed from the identical data of extensive field experiences and full scale model tests conducted by the Corps of Engineers and Portland Cement Association, although there are some minor differences among them.
　The summarized data were presented for general informations necessary tor standardization of overlay design for airport pavements.
