In succession to the tests previously reported in the first report, comparison tests were carried out on seven kinds of water reducing admixtures for concrete in market, three of which were identical with those used in the previous tests. The tests were made in accordance with the JSCE Tentative Specification for Water Reducing Admixtures for Concrete 1966 on unit water content, bleeding, time of setting, compressive, flexural, tensile and bond strengths, and drying shrinkage of concrete. Based on the results, the effects of the admixtures upon the concrete properties were then discussed.
