Literature survey was casried out on the prestressed concrete pavements for runway, taxiway and apron of airports. In part I the published achievements of research works, results of field investigation and experiences on practical problems on airport prestressed concrete pavements were reviwed systematically and summarized so as to organize a text on the design and practice. In Part II the typical twenty two cases of prestressed concrete works applied for foreign airport pavements were introduced mainly on their design, practice and field investigation.
