Experimental Laboratory for Micro Focus X ray CT System

Density distribution of the cross section of the object can be analyzed on the basis of the transmission of the multidirectional irradiation of X ray with X ray CT system. This system is made to investigate the density distribution of the geo-material in non-destructive condition. In this system, the density distribution of the geo-material specimen with 200mm diameter can be measured. If the diameter of the specimen is 50mm, a particle with about 0.1mm diameter can be identified. The engineering property of light weight treated soil which is complex mixture of soil, water , and air is evaluated with using this system.
