About PARI Main Research Facilities
Coastal Bottom boundary Eco-hydro Dynamics experiment flume (CBED-flume)
This facility simulates the movement of sediments (sand and soil) from the seabed and examines its impact on water quality. The circulator and the wave generator can be computercontrolled to reproduce complicated coastal seawater motions by tidal currents and waves.
* The circulator (propeller) in the first floor of the tank can generate water currents of up to 2 m/s.
