10m-deepTank for Sub-bottom Research

The 10m-deep tank is the large cylindrical steel construction, 10.5m in depth and 5m in its diameter. Its objective is tests of several acoustic devices and sensing equipments for underwater survey and working. It can be also used for experiment of the machine which needs water depth. A hatch is opened at the bottom and windows for observation are opened at half height of the tank, and a crane is mounted over the top of the tank. It has been used for the sonar imaging system, positioning system, and basic tests of other acoustic equipments.
