Outline of a facility
The shapes of ocean wave change under the influences of the islands, breakwaters and the bottom topography. Such wave transformations can be reproduced in the basin by setting the model of bathymetry from offshore to onshore. The Dual Face Serpent-Type Wave Maker can generate multi-directional random waves by using 100 wave generator paddles with 60cm wide. Moreover, two kinds of waves toward different direction are superposed by controlling the separated wave generator on two sides of the basin independently.
