High-quality Concrete Development Facilities

In this facility, there are a concrete laboratory, a curing room and an environment-control room. We can carry out a concrete making and curing, some experiment about concrete durability, and so on.

In the concrete laboratory, a concrete making and a measurement for the fresh concrete property can be carried out at the constant temperature. Also, the preparation of sample for a concrete analysis can be carried out by using two types of concrete cutter, a crusher and a powdering machine.

In the curing room, a standard curing can be carried out at the constant temperature of 20°C. Also, the curing under the natural seawater can be carried out.

In the environment-control room, there are three thermo-hygrostat (temperature: from -20°C to 100°C, humidity:from20% to 98%) , in which a deterioration of some materials can be accelerated. Also, we can carry out some investigation about the concrete durability such as a measurement of chloride ion in concrete, an electric migration test, an electrochemical measurement for steel corrosion in concrete, and so on.
